FAQs

Your Questions, Answered

What mediation options are available?

We provide both in-person and remote/Zoom mediation based on the parties’ preference.

How long does a mediation session last?

Each mediation is unique, but I clear the entire day for each mediation, working as long as needed for the parties to try and resolve the matter, even if it requires multiple sessions.

At what stages of a legal dispute do you mediate?

Our mediation services cover cases both before formal litigation (pre-filing) and during litigation at any stage.

Why choose mediation over other options?

Litigation is costly and uncertain, and the results are uncertain. Mediation allows the parties to make a good faith attempt to resolve disputes and control the result with an experienced neutral, rather than risk a decision by a judge or jury. Mediation simultaneously enables parties to assess the strengths and weaknesses of their claims.

Is the mediation process confidential?

Absolutely. Mediation is a strictly confidential process, ensuring that discussions remain confidential, even if the matter is not ultimately resolved. Parties cannot use information discussed during mediation in subsequent litigation.
